Livestock, for example, are critical economic and cultural assets for families, who care for the animals because they are a source of their livelihoods (Learn More). The dollar amounts listed for each gift represent the cost of providing the items along with support services or training. Each gift you make is symbolic and represents a contribution to the entire mission of Lutheran World Relief, to be used where the need is greatest.
